This connection is not secure - message in Firefox or Chrome
Solution When logging in to HELM, Webmail or your website you see the message:

This connection is not secure. Logins entered here could be compromised.

As part of raising awareness of password security browsers are now starting to indicate where login or other personal information is requested without using an encrypted connection - on the web a url that begins https:// is encrypted.

In order to use an https:// connection there needs to be a TLS (also known as SSL) certificate installed on your domain with its own unique IP address. We can supply such certificates and IP addresses for a small cost should you decide that you wish to encrypt your connections.

Banking and credit card information should always be given only over a secure connection. When you use HELM's 'make payment' option to pay your invoice via Paypal or Worldpay your information is transferred via a secure https:// site automatically.

For HELM or Webmail etc you need to decide whether the risk of someone 'listening in' to your logins is significant. If not then carry on as before but if you decide you would like an encrypted connection let us know and we can quote for you!

Instead of using your domain you can use:

to login securely to HELM

to login securely to Webmail
